The Electronic Transfer and Bid System changes take effective this Sat. March 7th 2015.
March 6th AA will purge the 12L list (current transfer list). You will have to add yourself back on the list March 7th for it to become active again.
The new system will declare the number of vacancies available. There will be a 7 day posting window to submit vacancy/transfer request, with an additional 2 days (Sat/Sun) to retract.
The new electronic system will do away with paper transfer notifications.
Transfer list renewal January & July is no longer necessary, with no 15 day waiting requirement. This system also makes paper lockout waivers and approval no longer required.
There are no changes to the automated crew chief system Article 12 (d).
Moving forward, the Transfer/Vacancies open every Saturday 0001 CST
As mentioned, March 6th all transfer lists will be purged. On March 7th you will need to reapply your transfer electronically.
