    Vickie Rocamontes

    June 15, 1962 - April 18, 2022

    Vickie Therese Gardner Woods Rocamontes, age 59, of Watauga, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord on April 18th, 2022. She was born in Carthage, Mississippi on June 15, 1962. Vickie grew up in Humbolt and Matoon, Illinois. She graduated from Matoon High School in 1980. She worked for the original Burger King  for many years before moving to Texas in 1984. She began working for American Airlines the following year.

    Mr. Wesley Rayford Eaves

    OCTOBER 15, 1935 – MAY 4, 2022

      

      

    Wesley joined the U. S. Navy in 1955 and served 4 years on the U.S.S. Antietam. While stationed in Boston, Wesley graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College and was a truck mechanic for several years. He happily joined American Airlines as a fleet service clerk, retiring in 1996. He was a resident of Colleyville for 50 years. Wesley enjoyed traveling and fishing, serving for several years as president of America's Bass Fishing Club.

    Jerry B. Hicks

    December 7, 1938- June 3, 2022

    Mr. Jerry B Hicks

    Jerry proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for American Airlines as a Fleet Service Crew Chief. In 1996, after working twenty-seven years, he retired. Jerry was kind, loving and selfless. He would give anyone the shirt off his back.

    Edward Brinkman

    MARCH 30, 1943 – JUNE 4, 2022

     

    Ed was born in Covington, KY and grew up near the family Dairy Farm in Fort Mitchel, KY. He attended Blessed Sacrament School and St. Henry High School. Ed met the love of his life at age 17, Gayle Questa. Ed worked for American Airlines for 33 years. He was an athlete all his life playing baseball, softball and golf. He enjoyed family, friends, and travel. Ed's pillars in life are God, family and friends. He instilled these values in his children and grandchildren.
