Walter Lee Adams was born in Jacksonville, Texas on February 14, 1951, to the parentage of Willie B. and Ruthie Mae Adams. He graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, Texas in 1970, with outstanding honors. He was a man of few words, kind-hearted, earnest, and carried a warmed demeanor with a smile to all whom he encountered. He was a man who enjoyed technology and photography.

Greg Justice, fleet service agent working in Austin, passed away on February 28, 2025. Greg had unconditional love for his family. He also had a love of Moto GP Racing and was excited and had tickets to the upcoming event in Austin at the end of this month. For Greg, racing taught him that life is lived at the edge, but it's family that keeps him well-balanced.

He loved his rich roots of the DFW area; He attended C. F. Carr Elementary and graduated from L.G Pinkston High School, Class of `74. Reggie decided to serve his Country after high school and joined the Army Reserve. "Hard worker" is an understatement. Reggie worked for Union Pacific until the opportunity to join American Airlines was presented to him. His sweet mother Emma saw the job ad listed in the paper. Reggie applied and worked for American Airlines for 28 dedicated years.

While living in Nashville, Richard's ambition and dedication eventually led him to a fulfilling career at American Airlines, where he worked for fleet services, and eventually was in the training department for the fleet service department by the time he retired, just shy of 30 years of service. During his tenure with American Airlines, he frequently worked in various cities besides Nashville, including Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Dallas, Texas.

Karl Stanford

Karl Stanford, (Big Karl) passed away on August 1, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. Karl was born on February 7, 1955 to his loving parents Kyrstyna (Pawlinsky) Stanford and Richard S. Stanford in Heidelberg, Germany. When Karl was 3, his family transferred to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. Karl graduated from Eastwood High School in El Paso in 1974. Karl received numerous basketball scholarships. He played basketball at Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas and at Wayland Baptist College in Plainview, Texas. Karl proudly served in the United States Air Force. He received an honorable discharge from the Air Force, then pursued a career with the airlines. He worked 2 years as a Flight Attendant and Customer Service Agent for Continental Airlines. Being 6 foot 10 inches, he was the tallest flight attendant ever for Continental. He then worked as a baggage handler and ground service for another 8 years in Denver and El Paso. When Continental folded, he was hired by American Airlines and was a Fleet Services Clerk for 32 years for American Airlines in El Paso and Dallas.

Lawrence "Larry" Ryckman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 4th 2025.Born July 9th 1945 in Buffalo, New York, he grew up on the west side raised by a loving foster family. After graduation from Boys Vocational School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country from 1965 to 1969 as a jet engine mechanic. He was Honorably Discharged as a Staff Sergeant E-5. He was hired by American Airlines in 1969, where he retired after over 35 years of service.

Jim was born on September 9, 1954, in Evanston, Illinois. He spent his early years in Chicago before his family moved to Streamwood, Illinois. He later settled in Watauga, Texas, after marrying his beloved wife, Linda. He also resided in Raleigh, North Carolina, before returning to Texas where he remained until his death. At the age of 18, Jim began his dedicated career with American Airlines in Chicago. He continued working with the company in both Texas and North Carolina, retiring after 47 years of service. He was an active member of the TWU Local 513, serving as the Vice President in Raleigh and as a union representative in Texas.
