Skylink Maintenance

DFW Airport will be conducting major maintenance on the Skylink system beginning next week . Major maintenance elements need repaired as well as prep for the upcoming Winter season. The Inner Loop (clockwise direction A-C-E-D-B) will not operate Tuesday-Thursday, October 11-October 13 and October 25-October 27. The outer loop (counter clockwise direction A-B-D-E-C) will not operate Tuesday-Thursday, October 18-October 20 and November 1-November 3. The schedule is illustrated below.

The Airport is developing signage to be posted at the base and top of each Skylink sta-tion informing riders of the outage as well as advising walk and ride times to each station. Airport Ambassadors will also be stationed at the base of each station to assist riders.

Additional trains will run on the operating loop during the outage days to provide suffi-cient capacity. Normally Skylink runs three trains in one direction during the overnight hours, increasing to five trains in both directions at 05:00 and eight trains both directions at 07:30. During the outage days the increase to five trains will begin at 04:30 and will in-crease to 10 trains at 07:30.
